Library Tour//Directory

Greetings!

I am the libraRIan, and I'll be showing you around

But before that, we just wanted to run through the house rules with you.

Library House Rules

We only have two "rules" here, and they are:

Be Curious

We believe that if you approach things with curiosity, you'll naturally be open, kind and respectful.

Don't spend all your time here

Not that we think you will, with so much exciting content out there. But we just wanted to gently remind you to: remember to spend time with yourself, with people around you and with the world.

It's important to us that what we do here fits into your life harmoniously.
It wouldn't make sense to have a library for curious living and have the members not do any of that living...

With that out of the way, let us begin the tour!

On the homepage, you can see the various sections of the library at a glance.

Here's a quick overview of what you can find at each section

Latest events and announcements will also be posted here.

libraRIan's pick: The Art in everyday things

from the studio

Everything that comes out of our studio can be found here!

Our collection ranges from DIY kits to process pieces.
You can also find artist-ri's musings on life and other random things, inspired by the creative process of making these experiences.
(Or as they prefer: musings that found them.)

libraRIan's pick: Taste Story #5

monthly play things

You are never too old to play! We find that play is the best way to experience everyday life keenly and deeply. So every month, we'll do our best to come up with some fun, sometimes silly and other times crazy ideas and activities for considered living!

Why So Curious

Our library's pride and joy, our monthly newsletter: Why So Curious

We call it the monthly dose of curiosity because we'll be throwing questions at you every month. The newsletter also features cool reads, cozy artwork and sometimes intriguing reads.

Here you will find all of past creations, including but not limited to newsletter back numbers of resource directions. If you like content spelunking, this is for you.

Status: periodically updated with new entries as we dust things off and archive them here

AKA a fancy name for "others".
Artist-ri sometimes creates things that don't fit into my usual categories. So they get shoved here.

幸福小ㄏㄜˊ

Did we mention that we're a bi-lingual library?

No?

Well, now you know.

幸福小ㄏㄜˊ is our mandarin zine that collects all our (cozy) musings around the curiosities in everyday life.

任何人都有快樂的權利和資格. 快樂是不需要資格的. 我的雜誌就是為此而設的. 舒緩生活的壓力,提醒生活裡小小的美好.

Quick note on membership and access

As you're exploring the library, you might notice that some posts require you to:

  • Sign-in
  • Be a paid subscriber

So very quickly, the library has 3 tiers of access.

You can filter our collection based on accessibility using the following tags:

newly curious   |   pretty curious   |  always curious

Tier 1: Public Access (newly curious)

Posts that are Public can be accessed by anyone in the public.

Tier 2: registered member (pretty curious) [FREE]

You can sign up for a free library card to access more areas of the library

Tier 3: paying member (always curious) [PAID]

Becoming a paying member gives you full access to everything AND invitation to certain beta-tests of our experiences before they're launched.

You also become a proud supporter of the arts and help us (and the creatives we work with) stay alive. Go you!

If you'd like to learn more about library memberships, just go the Membership Inquiry Counter at the front desk!

We've come to the end of our tour

Thank you for your attention, now...
